Accommodations:  Hotel rooms for participants are available at a modest cost at a number of local hotels.

Travel:  Stillwater is approximately 78 miles from both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City International airports. Both airports are well served by major airlines with connections to major hub cities – Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston.

Host Organization:  The Web Handling Research Center (WHRC) at Oklahoma State University was formed in 1986 as an industry/university cooperative research center to perform fundamental and applied research and knowledge transfer in web handling. The Center is funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation, the Noble Foundation, the Kerr Foundation, and 9 industrial corporations. The WHRC has hosted this premier IWEB conference every two years since 1991 as a means to expand the science and the knowledge base in web handling and to provide a worldwide forum for those interested in exchanging technical information on new developments, innovations, and future directions.

Host Institution:  An act of the first Oklahoma Territorial Legislature created the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College in 1890. This was just twenty months after the land run into Central Oklahoma and seventeen years before Oklahoma statehood! Oklahoma A&M College became Oklahoma State University in 1957. Today, OSU is a comprehensive, research-oriented institution committed to excellence in serving the needs of the State and Nation.
