Call for Papers
Papers are invited on:
- Lateral Mechanics, Dynamics, & Control
- Longitudinal Dynamics & Tension Control
- Measurement Techniques & Sensors
- Out-of-Plane Dynamics & Web Flutter
- Slitting & Runability
- Winding & Unwinding
- Wrinkling & Traction
- Web Handling in Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing of Printed & Flexible Electronics
Contributors are invited to submit unpublished original papers on any of the topics listed above or on topics which fit the general Scope of the conference. Papers will be selected on the basis of an abstract of approximately 500 words which describes the basic problem, methods used, main results and conclusions.
Abstracts should be submitted electronically to the IWEB website no later than March 1, 2019.
A Program Committee comprising members of the Organizing Committee and International Program Committee will review abstracts and make decisions on acceptability. Papers with commercial or sales elements will not be accepted. The Committee also reserves the right to review the final manuscript to assess the appropriateness of the paper for the conference.
Notification of acceptance of abstracts and instructions for preparations of full papers will be e-mailed to authors by March 15, 2019. The maximum acceptable length for papers is twenty pages (the equivalent of 1,000 words per page or the equivalent in figures). All authors will be required to submit the papers by the deadlines below. Failure to meet these deadlines will exclude that paper from the technical program. The conference proceedings will be published by the Web Handling Research Center. Authors are free to submit their papers in journals of their choice following the conference.
